This kitchen had generous space and solid cabinetry but felt dated and overfilled. Dark wood finishes, heavy trim details, and an abundance of upper cabinets created a closed-in atmosphere, while the layout, though functional, lacked flow and visual balance. The client envisioned a brighter, more open space that better supported everyday use and entertaining—while creating opportunities for organization and updated aesthetics. We kept the original hardwood flooring and redesigned/replaced all of the cabinetry.
