Qualifications:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Detail-oriented with good time management skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects at once
- Interest in current design trends and products and sharing this knowledge with customers
- Ability to learn detailed product specifications and applications
- Positive attitude and willingness to develop new skills
- Career-oriented and motivated
Responsibilities:
- Attending to walk-in clientele, assisting with floor sales, and gathering information
- Schedule client meetings, estimating, installation set-up, and post-install follow-up.
- Build and maintain relationships with new and existing clients.
- This position will be responsible for maintaining inventory in our Contractor Section, which includes product count, reordering, and upkeep of this Section.
- Participation in events and trade shows representing Shenandoah Flooring and Interior Designs
- Pricing updates and pulling dropped product
- Must be able to work a 40-work week (M-F)
Experience and Education:
- 1+ years of sales experience in a retail environment
- Construction experience preferred by not required
- Interior design or decorating background a plus

Qualifications:
- Prior experience is preferred, but we will train the right candidate.
- Basic knowledge of different types of flooring materials and installation methods
- Ability to work with various tools and equipment such as saws, drills, nail guns, and adhesive applicators, as well as the ability to read a measuring tape and other similar implements
- Attention to detail
- Strong verbal communication and problem-solving skills
- Time management and strong work ethic
- Commitment to safety and quality
Requirements:
- Must be available Monday through Friday from 8 am to 4:30 pm, no weekends
- Valid Driver's License and SSN
- Must own essential tools (list provided) but will assist with providing these items for qualified applicants.
- Dependable transportation
- Physical abilities: must be able to lift heavy materials, bend, kneel, and stand for long periods
